Know your calling. Uncover your gifts. Experience your future.

Who were you born to be?
I know, that’s a big question. In fact, just asking the question assumes a great deal about the meaning and purpose of life. I actually believe that you were born on purpose and for a purpose!
I believe you are so much more than 46 physical chromosomes. The deeper and more crucial question is, “Do you?”
Too often, our Mondays become Fridays and our weekends are a blur. Months become years, and we find ourselves meandering through our lives. What is left being undone? What are the ideas and burdens on God’s heart and mind that He wants accomplished? Which of these ideas, missions and innovations were you uniquely created to bring to life? Most tragically, what if you never have a good answer to any of these questions when your life comes to a close? What if you were born to be an intimate ally, partner and ambassador of the living God, to help see faith, hope and love change the course of human history, but you waste your life?
My friend, Traci, was afraid she was wasting her life. Years ago, she was a high-level leader in a major company. She was receiving promotion after promotion. She had a six-digit salary and the confidence and strength that followed. Then, God began to stir her heart with a new calling. So, Traci made the difficult decision to walk away from it all. She left her career and her sense of identity to stay home with her three kids.
This was a selfless and admirable decision. However, it also sent her into an identity tailspin. On Friday, she had a corporate outlet for all the strengths, talents and gifts God gave her. She woke up Monday morning at home—no office, no name tag, no team, no sense of identity. Maybe you feel the same way. It might not be leaving a career, like Traci. Maybe for you, it’s having the courage to risk starting one? I don’t know your specifics, but I do know that many of us can relate to the feeling of an identity tailspin.
Where some folks check out and coast through, Traci started to dig. She wouldn’t rest until she discovered who she was born to be. Her first step was attending the Spiritual DNA workshop. When Traci discovered more about herself and God’s unique design of her, it transformed her life. Until that point, her unique divine design was a mystery. The knowledge of her Spiritual Pathways, Personality, Kingdom Role and Strengths had never been discovered or leveraged in her life. Once Traci discovered who she was born to be, she was determined to stop at nothing to live out that identity.
She just recently received a new vision from God to help executives discover their unique role to lead with love in the marketplace. She is calling the movement Blessed to Be the Boss, and it is bringing her story full circle. Now at home and in her new career outside the home, she is leveraging everything she learned in SpiritualDNA to experience the peace, purpose and passion we are all created to experience. She has never felt more alive and ready to partner with God in the unique way she was born to do it. She is a pioneer and is ready to create the future. What about you?
Who were you born to be? It’s so much deeper, more primal than any career or position.
I believe the Creator of the Universe placed you on this planet on purpose and for a purpose. You possess such a unique expression of His character, and this world desperately needs to see that manifested through your servanthood and creativity. You can wake up each day living a life full of peace, passion and purpose. It all starts with a decision to discover who you were born to be.
